FOGA Ramble

Firbank Old Grammarians' Ramble - Sandringham Trail Sunday 19 November 1.30 p.m.

Our trail will start outside the Sandringham Railway Station at 1.30 p.m. We will proceed along Melrose Street, created as part of the Sandringham Estate in 1882, to the Band Rotunda.

We will then enjoy the beauty and history of the Gipsy Village Precinct – the original name of the Sandringham village and the Old Trafalgar Estate, established in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This will be a leisurely 3.5 km walk taking in the history, architecture and gardens of this part of Sandringham, with time to chat to other FOGA members and their friends. All Welcome! We will return to Sandringham at around 3.30 p.m. for afternoon tea at one of Sandringham’s delightful cafes (at your own expense). RSVP by:  Wednesday 15 November Please reply to this invitation via the FOGA email: [email protected] or contact: Pam Hammond on: 9598 8147 Mobile: 0417 326 847

VCE Theatre Studies Performance Evening

Our Year 12 Theatre studies students have to select a monologue from those offered by the VCAA. They then interpret the script and prepare a performance that is assessed externally by a panel of 3 assessors. We are really proud that for the last 3 years at Firbank, numerous students have received full marks for their monologue performances exams. So come along and support the class of 2017 – 6 Firbank students and 2 BGS students, in what will be there final performance at Firbank. You will be amazed at the skill of these young actors, directors and designers. Tuesday 17 October, 6-8pm, Louis Williams Hall.
