The key entry points at Firbank are ELC 3, Prep, Year 3, Year 5 and Year 7.
If you are applying for entry to another year level, please contact the Admissions team. We may be able to assist depending upon vacancies.
We encourage you to register early as we have waitlists at several year levels.
Overview of the enrolment process
For Local Students:
1. Attend an Open Morning or book a personal tour
2. Submit an online Application Form and pay the $200 non-refundable Application Fee (this fee is waived for Firbank alumni).
3. Provide Admissions with a copy of your child’s birth certificate using the secure file transfer link sent to you.
4. Your child’s name will then be added to our waitlist, and we will contact you to attend an interview once the interview process commences. The timing is linked to the year of application.
5. Upon successful completion of the interview, you will receive a letter of offer for a place
6. Accept the offer by completing and returning the offer contract, and paying the Confirmation of Enrolment Fee
For International Students:
1. Attend an Open Morning or book a personal tour when visiting Melbourne
2. Submit an online Application Form and pay the $200 non-refundable Application Fee (this fee is waived for Firbank alumni).
3. Provide Admissions with copies of the following documents translated in English using the secure file transfer link sent to you.
• Birth certificate
• Immunisation History Statement
• Two most recent school reports (where applicable)
• AEAS test result (entry in Senior School)
• Medical reports or educational assessments (if applicable)
• Passport (if applying for a student visa)
• Visa (when granted)
• Proof of residency if student born in Australia and both parents are born outside of Australia
4. Your child’s name will then be added to our waitlist, and we will contact you to attend an interview once the interview process commences. The timing is linked to the year of application.
5. Upon successful completion of the interview, you will receive a letter of offer for a place
6. Accept the offer by completing and returning the offer contract and paying the enrollment fees.
