PROMINENT ACHIEVEMENTS BY THE VCE CLASS OF 2017
Together with the School Board, Ms Jenny Williams, Principal, Firbank Grammar School congratulates the Class of 2017 and academic staff on the outstanding VCE results.
- One third (33.3%) of our students achieved an ATAR score of 95 and above placing Firbank students in the top 5%, Australia wide.
- 49% of Firbank students received an ATAR score of 90 and above, placing them in the top 10%, Australia wide.
- The Top ATAR score of 99.9 went to our Dux, Jessica Han (pictured below with Ms Jenny Williams). Two students jointly share the position of Dux Secondus with ATAR scores of 99.8.
- 8 Perfect studies scores were achieved.

Only 9% of students nationwide will receive a study score of 40 or above in any individual subject. 24.7% of Firbank students achieved scores of 40 and above.
“Each of our girls has worked hard to achieve these scores. They excelled and we are so incredibly proud of the VCE Class of 2017,” said Ms Williams. She went on to add, “It is the dedication of both our academic staff and students that produces these results and continues to see Firbank deliver Life Ready women.”
