A Positive Mind At Firbank

All parents want the best for their children. They want their children to be happy and to flourish. They want them to live out their dreams and reach their innate potential. Recent research by Research Schools International has revealed a significant correlation between happiness and academic success. Moreover, they found that relationships are fundamental to students’ happiness. That's why all our year levels have dedicated Wellbeing Coordinators and an extensive counselling team on site.

Premier’s VCE Award

Firbank students win top honours! A huge congratulations to Virginia D and Charlotte G, who were both recognised with a Premier’s VCE Award, as a result of their fantastic academic results in 2020. Everyone at Firbank is so proud of their efforts. Well done, girls!

Future Arts Precinct

The new Arts Precinct will change the way creativity is taught and explored at Firbank, through world-class facilities supporting our excellent arts programs. With a state-of-the-art lecture theatre and contemporary gallery space, we know our students are going to love the Arts Precinct when it is completed in early 2022. The Arts Precinct will be based in the Louis Williams building, maintaining and respecting the rich heritage of one of Firbank’s most historic sites. The space is being enhanced, modernised and transformed so that we can offer the best arts programs possible at Firbank.

Arts Precinct Update

Throughout the construction and upgrading process for the Firbank Arts Precinct, we have discovered these beautiful old fonts in the Louis Williams building. These fonts will be incorporated into the design of the new Arts Precinct, as a special tribute to the building’s rich history and heritage.
