Fareshare

It was the first time that all three Firbank campuses combined to collect pasta and rice for FareShare. Across the three campuses we collected over 1900 packets of pasta for the not for profit charity, Fareshare, who make meals for people experiencing food insecurity in Melbourne and Victoria. Each 500g packet of pasta (or rice) contributes to four meals, which means that as a community, we have contributed to over 10,000 meals. It took 21 Senior School students and two staff over 40 minutes to load the Fareshare van earlier today. To say that the driver was impressed is an understatement! Thank you to all those Firbank families who contributed to this worthwhile cause. #FirbankGrammarSchool #MyFirbankExperience #Fareshare

Firbank Head Netball Coach awarded Queen’s Birthday Honour

We are so proud of our Firbank Head Netball Coach, Kathryn Harby-Williams for the Queen's Birthday honour she received yesterday Kathryn received the Officer (AO) in the General Division of the Order of Australia Medal for significant service to netball as a player, national captain, coach, commentator, board member and player's advocate. Congratulations Kathryn, we are so fortunate to have you lead our Netball Club. #FirbankNetball
