The Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships were held recently at Mt Buller with nearly 40 participants competing for Firbank across the 3 campuses.

There was a huge dumping just before the championships started and the snow was unbelievable with many saying that this has been the best ski season in 30 years.

The Juniors competed with great spirit and determination. Students qualified for Nationals in Div 4 Snowboard GS, the Div 5 Ski X and the Div 5 Alpine team event.

The Senior races were held during the latter part of the week and weekend. With improved weather conditions the Seniors raced in brilliant sunshine and several students qualified for Nationals in the Div 1 Slopestyle Ski, Div 3 Slopestyle Ski, Div 2 Snowboard GS and Snowboard X and the Div 2 Alpine team event.
