Latest from Year 2
As we near the middle of the term, students and teachers throughout Junior School shifted the focus of their investigations to launch new inquiries this week. In Year Two, students are building self-management skills including their fine motor skills – working with finesse using tools. They are learning what it means to work safely and make informed choices. Planned to provoke their thinking and questioning, students enjoyed a hands-on morning investigating the parts, purposes and complexities of a range of tools. They generated push and pull forces when clawing, clamping, drilling, hammering, screwing and sawing. These girls are certainly a creative bunch!
