The power of giving

A gift to education transforms lives.

Scholarships empower deserving students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to go out and make a difference in the world. A gift in support of the Building Program provides students with world-class teaching and sports facilities so they can pursue their passions, challenge themselves and achieve their best.

Our community of students, families, alumni and staff have been passionate supporters of Firbank for more than 110 years. Your gift will continue this tradition of philanthropy and provide future generations with the opportunity to conquer themselves, face challenges and embrace future possibilities.

Every gift, large or small, helps provide amazing opportunities.

Ways to give

Pay it Forward scholarship

This scholarship is an initiative of the Class of 2019. It provides an education to a girl whose family does not have the resources to send their daughter to Firbank.

Indigenous scholarships

This program supports students from remote and regional communication with access to a Firbank education and a welcoming home at our Boarding House. We work closely with community partners to provide Indigenous students with life changing opportunities and the support they need throughout their education journey.

Leave your Mark plaque program

Firbank alumni have the opportunity to celebrate their links with Firbank and pay it forward for future students by making a $300 tax-deductible gift to the scholarship fund. Donors to this program are acknowledged on individual plaques displayed on the colonnade at the school entrance.

Gift in Will program

Leaving a gift in your Will is an opportunity to celebrate your past while shaping the future for the next generation of Firbank students.

You can choose to leave a gift which supports Firbank in general, or you can direct your gift to a particular purpose such as providing scholarships or funding new facilities. A gift in Will need not be large. It can be a monetary amount, a percentage of an estate, or a particular asset.

Those who intend to leave a bequest join the Pen-y-Bryn Society, which was created to acknowledge the generosity and foresight of those who decide to leave this incredibly special gift.
