Firbank is a member of Girls Sport Victoria (GSV) which comprises the 23 girls schools in Melbourne. GSV offers competition in 15 sports and the Year 7-8 division competition is Thursdays after school, Years 9-10 on Wednesdays after school and Year 11-12 on Mondays after school. If it is an away game, a bus will take your daughter from Firbank to the competition venue and return her to the School. Participation in GSV is strongly encouraged, but not compulsory. In addition, Firbank offers other sports, some of which have before and after school training sessions and may involve weekend commitments.
