The Rowing Club was formed in 1992 and since that time the School, parents, coaches and teachers have worked together to develop a comprehensive program for Year 8 to Year 12 students.

Firbank crews train on the Yarra River and have enjoyed considerable success in national, state and school competitions. Firbank shares rowing facilities with Brighton Grammar School.
