Congratulations Class of 2012

Congratulations to the Class of 2012 who have maintained Firbank's position as one of the leading indepedent schools in Victoria.

Dux of the School - Evangeline Yang - who attained at ATAR of 99.80

The highlights this year include:

10% of our students achieved an ATAR of 99 and above which places them in the top 1% of the nation
32% of our students achieved an ATAR of 95 and above which places them in the top 5% of the nation
28% of our study scores were above 40 - this represents a ranking in the top 9% of all students enrolled in that subject
Median ATAR score of 90.25
Across all Mathematics subjects, 23% of students achieved study scores above 40 and 50% of Specialist Mathematics achieved study scores above 40
In English, 24% of students achieved study scores above 40
Visual Arts achieved excellent results averaging 51% of study scores above 40 across the three subjects Art, Studio Arts and Visual Communication Design
Two perfect study scores of 50 were achieved in Visual Communication Design
33% of all Science students achieved study scores above 40
36% of LOTE oral and examination scores were A+
